Italian soprano Martina Russomanno (b. 1998) has been a soloist of Deutsche Oper Berlin since the 2026/27 season. She graduated from the Mozarteum University Salzburg, where she made her operatic debut in 2021 as Vitellia in Mozart's La clemenza di Tito. From 2021 to 2023, she was a member of the Paris Opera Academy.

Her recent engagements include Donna Anna (Don Giovanni) at the Staatsoper Stuttgart and Semperoper Dresden, the title role in Rossini's Semiramide in Palermo, Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro) in Rome, Violetta (La traviata) in the Arena di Verona, and Lucio Cinna in Mozart's Lucio Silla at the Salzburg Festival. In May 2026, she achieved a major success as Amenaide in Rossini's Tancredi at the Rome Opera. Reviewing the performance, the Financial Times wrote: “28-year-old soprano Martina Russomanno as Amenaide was the big discovery of the evening, her luminescent voice sliding through twisting phrases with supple ease...”

Martina Russomanno is a laureate of several prestigious international singing competitions, including the Dušek Singing Competition in Prague, where she was awarded Second Prize in 2018 for her performances of Vitellia's demanding aria Non più di fiori from Mozart's La clemenza di Tito and Donna Elvira's aria Ah, chi mi dice mai from Don Giovanni.

The New Zealand tenor of Samoan origin, Amitai Pati is considered one of the most exciting tenors on today’s operatic scene. He studied at the prestigious Wales International Academy of Voice in Cardiff and completed the Merola Opera Program at San Francisco Opera, where he sang his first major role – Ferrando in Così fan tutte. Since then, he has been a regular guest at leading opera houses worldwide.

His European debut as Nadir in Bizet’s Les Pêcheurs de perles at the Philharmonie de Paris in March 2020 drew extraordinary acclaim: “The young singer made a sensational debut in Paris,” wrote the French magazine Forum Opéra. In February 2024, he made his debut at the Paris Opera as Anichino in Beatrice di Tenda, and in July 2025 he appeared at the Aix-en-Provence Festival as Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni) under the baton of Sir Simon Rattle. He also returned regularly to San Francisco Opera, among other roles as Tamino in Barrie Kosky’s iconic production of Die Zauberflöte. In September 2026, he will make his debut at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, as Ferrando in Mozart's Così fan tutte, followed by his debut at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich in January 2027 as Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni.

Alongside his operatic career, Amitai Pati is widely popular as a member of the successful vocal trio SOL3 MIO, performing together with his brother Pene Pati and their cousin Moses Mackay.

Although Amitai Pati and Martina Russomanno belong to a new generation of young singers, they are already in demand at the world's leading opera houses, and their international careers are gathering remarkable momentum. Prague audiences will have the opportunity to hear two exceptional artists whose names are certain to feature prominently in the opera world for many years to come.

The evening will be led by the Prague Philharmonia under the baton of Jakub Klecker.
